As event planners, it is always fun for our staff at the Knoxville Convention Center to welcome brides-to-be for the wedding trade shows that we host. We know how much work goes into planning a spectacular event and the minute details that have to be organized. The trade shows are a great resource to get advice and ideas for your big bridal event.

This Sunday, Feb. 8, the Knoxville News Sentinel’s Bridal & Beyond will showcase more than 100 exhibitor booths, giving brides exclusive access to premier wedding vendors ready to design their perfect day. Many of these booths are staffed by our hospitality partners, from rental companies to florists, that we work with for corporate events, meetings and conferences throughout the year. In fact, our staff also will have a booth to promote our venue for large weddings and offer expertise to brides on the planning process.

Every bride-to-be has a specific concept that she would like to accomplish for her dream day – and that usually is accompanied by a strict budget. Along with discounts and special offers from individual vendors throughout the event, guests also can register to win wedding door prizes through our Grand Prize Giveaways. Those prizes range from venue rentals and photography sessions to décor packages and tuxedo rentals. Attendees also can enjoy two fashion shows on the Bridal & Beyond stage.

The Knoxville Convention Center is delighted to host three premier bridal trade shows with thousands of brides-to-be in attendance throughout the year. In addition to Bridal & Beyond, the Convention Center hosts the Pink Bridal Show twice a year in January and August.

We wish all brides good luck and happy planning!
