I like the outdoors, boating on the lakes, picnicking and hiking in the mountains and surrounding areas.

What is your favorite location in Knoxville?

I have more than one favorite location because Knoxville has a lot to offer. The downtown area and Market Square have numerous restaurants, special events and a movie theater. The UT area has football games and tailgating. I also love attending special events like Boomsday, the Rossini Festival and the Farmers’ Market.

What do you thinks sets Knoxville apart as a great city to visit?

The people are friendly. We have all seasons, and there are a lot of local attractions like the Knoxville Museum of Art, the East Tennessee History Center and Museum, Market Square, the Old City and the University of Tennessee.  We have easy access to several lakes and mountains.

What is your favorite part about working at the Knoxville Convention Center?

I like working with different clients. Each event brings a different challenge and therefore makes my job interesting and brings something new every day. I also enjoy working with our staff from each department. The Knoxville Convention Center is a beautiful building to sell.
