Foodcity3300The Food City Food Show is just around the corner! Vendors have begun to set up their booths, and chefs will soon take the stage to display their skills. The Knoxville Convention Center’s large exhibit hall is decked out in Volunteer orange for this year’s theme, Football Time in Tennessee.

On Friday, Oct. 5, and Saturday, Oct.  6, the Knoxville Convention Center will be a food lover’s dream, and we are excited to host this event again this year. The Food City Food Show will offer aisles of food samples, gift bags, coupons and more for all of this year’s attendees. Food City is collaborating with chefs Jon Ashton of Dash and Parade magazines as well as Arnold Myint, a former contestant on Bravo’s Top Chef to bring a great experience and lots of fun to this year’s show.

Foodcity2300At last year’s event, the line to get in the door stretched out through the Convention Center. And if you need another reason to visit the food show, it all benefits a great cause. All proceeds from this event benefit the United Way to help them serve one million people each year.

The Food City Food Show is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Friday through Saturday. Tickets for the event can be purchased at Food City stores for $8 or at the door for $10. Children 12 and under are free.

I hope to you see you there!
