SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY. ALL DAY. EVERY DAY.
If you’re an exhibitor, you’ve landed on the right page.
The Knoxville Convention Center, located between the urban area of downtown Knoxville and the campus of the University of Tennessee, offers exhibitors both a beautiful facility to showcase their products and a vibrant area to explore when not staffing your exhibit. Downtown Knoxville has an eclectic mix of restaurants, shops and theaters and a thriving residential population.
The center is located in the middle of a large metropolitan area with three major interstate systems, so events are well attended. We have an outstanding relationship with local media so our events are also well promoted.
The center, which borders the beautiful World’s Fair Park, features three floors of concourse, meeting and exhibit space. We have exhibition halls and conference and meeting rooms to meet the needs of any event and allow for maximum exposure for the exhibitors.
We are here to serve you in the true “Volunteer” spirit of East Tennessee.
Savor … Knoxville Catering, the Knoxville Convention Center’s exclusive food and beverage provider, offers an assortment of culinary options and features our in-house executive chef, Chris Moore.
Our catering and event managers can guide you through menus, pricing and beverage and wine selection. If it’s not on the menu, we’ll create it. “Whatever it takes” is our philosophy.
Whether you need a sit-down banquet for a gala affair or convention, hors d’ oeuvres for an elegant reception, a fabulous buffet for a wedding, a specialty coffee and croissant from a concession cart or traditional hot dog and soda for a sporting event, Savor will satisfy.
We strive to use locally available ingredients and goods to offer foods that are fresh, wholesome and delicious. Orders are prepared on-site and done to perfection. We can offer regional favorites or ethnic varieties. Food and beverage kiosks also can be positioned in high-traffic areas to provide quick access for guests.
Our executive chef, catering sales, banquet staff and culinary team provide unparalleled expertise and attention to your event.
The Convention Center’s in-house event services team, ALL Convention and Expo Services (ACES), is dedicated to making every event a standout. ACES can transform our ballrooms and exhibit halls into creative masterpieces.
ACES provides on-site decorating from tables and linens to carpets, drapes, backdrops and stages for all occasions. Tell us your vision, and ACES will make it a reality.
We partner with M&M Productions USA to provide our planners with an in-house resource for all audio, video, digital, stage, sound and lighting needs. M&M Production are experts at lighting our facility and know how to put your event in the spotlight.
Based in Oak Ridge, M&M Productions USA has made a name for itself, producing major concerts and events worldwide. From video conferencing to web streaming to screens and microphones, M&M will make sure you have access to all the tools you need for a successful event.
The Convention Center provides reliable Internet services through our partner, showNets, a company located in Georgia that offers on-site support for our events. The company is an expert in delivering Internet services for convention centers and works closely with our staff and exhibitors to ensure that all online needs are met.
Our fast, user-friendly Internet service is available at 150 complimentary user positions around the center.
We want to meet every need for your event to ensure that your stay in our state-of-the-art facility is both productive and pleasant.
At the core of our Convention Center is a single expanse with nearly 120,000 gross square feet of contiguous and divisible exhibit space on one level. This area has separate entrances so it allows for easy movement of attendees. There are utility floor ports located on 30-foot centers that provide electricity, drainage, data and phone connections. Compressed air and water are also located on specific columns.
The second floor offers two exhibit halls, a lecture hall and meeting rooms. Our exhibit halls can be used as general or plenary sessions for large groups. The halls can be set up in theater or elevated theater seating, classroom or banquet or a combination of these sets.
The third floor features ballrooms and meeting rooms and the very visible Henley, Clinch and Cumberland concourses where attendees can easily view the exhibits and passers-by at street level can see the activity.
We are a turnkey operation and offer in-house services for all food and beverages with selections created by Chris Moore, an award-winning chef, and his stellar catering staff. We also can provide a full range of audiovisual services, sound reinforcement, slide and video projection, video production and computer/projection interfacing, along with technology and Internet needs.
MOVE IN/MOVE OUT
The Knoxville Convention Center has an underground loading dock with nine truck bays. Seven of the bays have dock levelers for easy offloading. Ramps allow for direct access to the exhibit floor, and tractor-trailers up to 74 feet in length can be turned around underground. The entrance gate to the secured loading dock area via Cumberland Avenue is 15.5 feet tall and 37 feet, 10 inches in width.
The nearby Blackstock parking lot serves as the marshalling yard for your event. Upon arrival to the yard, check in with the marshalling coordinator, who will guide you through the loading dock access, unloading and parking process.
Once the event is over, you pick up a loading pass from the show office/manager and report to the marshalling yard. The coordinator will direct you to the loading dock as bays become available.

What our great customers have to say about us.
“I have been an exhibitor at the Knoxville Convention Center for four years. The ease of getting in and out of the Convention Center – for setup and display, as well as for the potential customers who attend – is one of the top reasons to be at the Convention Center. The facilities are super clean, super nice, super updated. Everything is first-class looking, from the flat screens on the walls to the carpet. The staff is very friendly. I would consider the Knoxville Convention Center the nicest place in Knoxville to do any type of show. I would estimate that leads generated from the Downtown Knoxville Boat Show and Dogwood Arts House & Garden Show make up 50 percent of our annual business.”
Jason Varney, Owner of Dock & Deck
Exhibitor at Downtown Knoxville Boat Show and Dogwood Arts House & Garden Show
“After reviewing the first quarter’s business, we determined the most productive and enjoyable home show we do is the Dogwood Arts House & Garden Show at the Knoxville Convention Center. So far, we have been at several shows – from Chattanooga and Nashville to Kingsport – and Dogwood Arts has produced the highest-quality leads resulting in more profit. This is my fifth year at the Knoxville Convention Center and from the promotion of the show to your outgoing and friendly staff, the overall experience is a winner. Thank you and your staff for a great show, and we can’t wait until 2015.”
Jon Bates, Regional Director of Operations at Mountain View Solar (MTVSolar)
Exhibitor at Dogwood Arts House & Garden Show
