What is your favorite activity to do in Knoxville?

Anything with my husband and daughter. Ijams Nature Center and the Knoxville Zoo are two of our favorite places.

What is your favorite location in Knoxville?

Market Square.  I love the hustle and bustle and all of the shops and restaurants in that area.

What do you think sets Knoxville apart as a great city to visit?

That we have everything from outdoor activities to attractions, such as the zoo and museums, to fantastic eateries and great shops.

What is your favorite part about working at the Knoxville Convention Center?

I love working with the diverse groups that we have here at the center, from large corporate events to nonprofit fundraisers to national/international conferences. I enjoy creating specialty menus for groups and hearing the comments about our “amazing and unexpectedly flavorful” convention center food.  When I see a meeting planner get positive feedback from his/her attendees, that is the ultimate satisfaction.
