graphThe Knoxville Convention Center is a happening place this November. We are booked solid, with at least one event taking place every day throughout the month. We expect to welcome approximately 80,000 guests through our facility this month.

I am delighted that our Convention Center is in such demand and proud of the variety of events we host. From weeklong conventions to fancy galas, from outdoor enthusiasts to a political rally, Santa and his elves, and a little of everything in between, we’re hosting it all.

Our busy lineup this month included several statewide and national conferences, such as the Grassroots Outdoor Alliance and the Tennessee/Kentucky Marina Association Annual Conference. These meetings and conventions brought hundreds of attendees from across the state and country.

We’re also hosting several huge events at our facility this month that are open to the public, including East Tennessee Children’s Hospital’s Fantasy of Trees, which will be held Nov. 25-29. The beloved holiday event welcomes thousands of guests each year.

In conjunction with Fantasy of Trees, the Knoxville Convention Center also is home to Holiday Canstruction presented by Messer Construction Co. on Nov. 21 through Dec. 3. The holiday art exhibit features massive structures built entirely of canned goods, which will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee after the event ends. The sculptures can be viewed on our concourses.

A political rally Nov. 16 featuring an appearance by presidential candidate Donald Trump also promises to bring several thousand guests from across the region and a lot of media attention.

The Knoxville Convention Center is indeed a bustling place, and my staff and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
