Chef Gabriel Spenser is responsible for daily kitchen operations including ordering, managing inventory, and overseeing food quality. Chef Spenser came to the convention center from the University of Tennessee Culinary Program where received his certification. He has been a cook with Knoxville Convention Center for 3 years and his dedication and hard work has elevated him to the rank of Sous Chef. Before attending UT’s Culinary Program, Spenser was a stay at home father who cared for his daughter. Although Chef Spenser is very passionate about his career, his family always comes first. He has been married to his wonderful wife Samantha for 26 years, and they have an amazing 25 year old daughter Elizabeth. Chef Spenser craft and creativity are truly unmatched and will surely propel him to great things in the future.
